Central to my design philosophy is the idea of repurposing and reinventing existing materials, a reflection of the resourcefulness ingrained in immigrant communities.

Clothing emerges as more than mere attire; it embodies the symbols of social class and upbringing, carrying the weight of generational narratives and aspirations. 

As I prepare to become the first in my family to graduate college in America, the symbolic resonance of the tie holds profound significance for me, representing rites of passage and milestones.
